[ Taichi is at his door in about 35 minutes with a suit case and a giant Akapoyo-kun plush tucked under his arm. Akapoyo Jr. is filling out the hood of the hoodie he is wearing. He's got a medium small cardboard box in one hand and a grocery bag of junk food and fancy water in the other. He doesn't knock. Instead ]

[What a great opening to make a joke about Taichi just wanting his mouth but he keeps it to himself. This is special for him so Hikaru doesn't want to be too mean and tease him. There will be plenty of times where Taichi opens himself up to a joke anyway.

Sorry I was trying to save up money. [There's a sarcastic tone to his voice but he's not all that annoyed. It's just hard when you're fired from your jobs for not being good at customer service or manual labor but that seems uncool so he's not telling Taichi that part.

At the very least, all the products seem new and to be of good brands. Not rich people level, but Taichi finally got a steady role at a theater so he can afford better stuff now and as soon as he reached that level of better product, he came to Kaoru. At the very least, he's confident he's leveled up enough that he'll only get mild nose turning. (And it's still way better than what comes free with the inn rooms.) ]
