There are different kinds of love, but ultimately there's always only one person who is going to be most important. It's okay to be confused, but to truly believe you like both people... It hurts to think someone who is the most important person to you thinks about someone else romantically. Isn't he just hurting both of his friends more by refusing to think about how he really feels and let the other person move forward?
[ Taichi may not be academically astute, but he's got a fair level of emotional intelligence and empathy... Even if he doesn't always come off that way, and given half the chance would definitely follow this like a drama if it weren't bothering Hikaru so much. ]

Hm... you should get a third party to ask her out to motivate them to get their priorities straight! A third party who doesn't really want to date Aurora, and she knows about. Then they'll realize what they're missing out on, maybe?
I'm all for a good scheme but considering Zuko was losing it that Aurora asked Gokudera out, I think it'd be way more disastrous if that happened.

I think it's something like, if it's not a clean heartbreak and you don't get closure, it's hard to ever really get over it, right? Like if someone you liked moved away and you got on a train in the pouring rain to chase after them and tell them how you feel, but you were never able to find them again. Part of you would always wonder, so many we just have to lock all three of them in a room and not give them the key until morning. Aurora doesn't seem like the type who would just let those two stay quiet the whole time, you know?
